Honeymoon in San Francisco

The day after we got married in San Diego, Nick & I flew to San Francisco for the weekend for a mini honeymoon. We rode the BART from the airport and stayed in Union Square.

Friday we walked around Union Square and grabbed a late lunch. That night we met up with Nick's good friend Chris for drinks and dinner. Saturday we rode a cable car over to Lombard Street, then walked up to Fisherman's Wharf. We ate fresh crab and clam chowder for lunch before walking over to Pier 39 to see the sea lions. We then walked to Ghirardelli Square for an ice cream sundae before taking the cable car over to China Town. Saturday night we had a nice Italian dinner in North Beach.

The weather was beautiful and we had a great weekend in San Francisco.

The kids...

Here is our most recent picture of Luna & Kelly. As I was walking up the stairs, both of them were sitting at the top waiting for me. Usually Kelly is jumping on top of Luna, so this was a sight to see! I happened to have my phone in hand, so I snapped a picture. It's a little blurry, but I don't think I'll ever get another picture of Luna & Kelly side by side.

Here's another picture of Luna & Kelly hanging out together, caught on the cell phone.

Christmas Eve

While Nick was at work, I got to work in the kitchen on Christmas Eve. I made some Christmas cookies, with homemade frosting. It's my favorite time of year! Merry Christmas!

Kindergarten Holiday Show

Every year the Kindergarten kids put on a holiday show for their families on the last day of school before winter break. It is a big production for the kids, run by yours truly. Each class sings their own holiday song, as well as songs sung by all of the classes. The teachers buy props and costumes for the kids and decorations for the stage. It's also pajama day, so we all come dressed up in our pj's. It's really fun and we broadcast it to the entire school.

My class sang "Jingle Bell Rock" and they did a great job. They wore little reindeer antlers and jingle bell bracelets. It was very cute.
