Santa Paws

My great friend at work, Kristina, bought Kelly an early Christmas present. She is always on the hunt for a good "Scottish Terrier" gift for me or Kelly. She found a Santa suit for him and it fits perfectly. He looks so cute and is really in the Christmas spirit! Kelly debuted his Santa suit at my "girls night" Christmas party and the girls couldn't get enough of him. The next morning we took him to the Coronado dog beach to get some pictures of a true Southern California Christmas. It was about 85 degrees that day, so he only wore it for a little while, but Kelly was the hit of the beach!

Vegas Trip!

In November, we took off to Las Vegas. Nick & I, Kelly (Jacoby) & Kevin, Jen & Brian and Kelly (Eck) & Ryan all met in Vegas to celebrate Jen's 35th birthday. The girls are my best friends from U.C.S.B, so we've known each other for almost 15 years.

Friday night we all met in Jen & Brian's suite before we went out. We had some cocktails and pizza and caught up with each other. We live all over California, so it was very exciting to see one another. After, Brian had arranged for a limo and we cruised the strip before heading to the Bellagio for some dancing, drinks & gambling.

Saturday we all kind of did our own thing. Nick & I hit up the buffet before taking a long nap. We then went to the pool for some fresh air and sunshine. We all got back together for happy hour and some Mexican Food.

Saturday night we went to the top of "The Hotel" and had drinks and dinner. We took some great pictures, before sitting down for an amazing meal. We had a great time with our great friends!

2nd Annual Charger Game

On Halloween we took our 2nd annual trip to the Charger game with our friends Wendy & Dustin, Alida & Vince. We also met up with a few other friends. We tailgated in the parking lot, cooking up carne asada & chicken. It was a great game, especially since the Chargers beat the Titians 33-25. We've decided that we are going to make this an annual tradition with our group of friends, since it is so much fun.

Kindergarten Halloween

Here are some pictures from the Halloween parade at school. I was a tree this year. We learn about trees in Kindergarten science. I thought it was pretty clever and the kids enjoyed it.

Kelly and Luna celebrated Halloween this morning with their new bandanas.

Kelly's 1st Birthday

Kelly boy had his 1st birthday on August 22. The day before we had a party and all of his doggie BFF's came over. They played at the dog park and ate cake and ice cream. Unfortunately the camera didn't have the picture card in it, so we don't have any pictures from his party.

The next day, Nick & I took Kelly to the dog beach at Coronado for the first time. Kelly was a little unsure about the water, but eventually got in. He had a great time running around with some friends and was exhausted when we got home. Later that night Kelly ate some cake and opened some presents. His favorite gift was his Charger jersey. He is such a big boy, but still our little baby.

Elisa's Visit

In August we had a very special visitor! Nick's niece, Elisa, came from France & stayed with us for 3 weeks. We ran all over San Diego, visiting the Zoo, Old Town, Del Mar Racetrack & Lake El Capitan, just to name a few spots in San Diego. We went to Coronado & Mission beaches, as well as the pool. While Nick was working, Elisa & I did a lot of shopping and eating at Avenue 5 & Yogurtland. Kelly loved having his cousin Elisa take him on walks & to the dog park. We also kidnapped Katie & made a trip to Knotts Berry Farm. Below are a few pictures from Elisa's trip.
